Women of ALPFA, Building Latina Leaders Strong from the Inside Out, is the premier professional development event for Latinas in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This year’s event includes a keynote by nationally recognized Clinical Psychologist Dr. Ana Nogales, and a fashion show by Banana Republic.

With over 400 Latino and Latina leaders from the Bay Area expected to attend, its going to be a fantastic event to help build Latina leaders.

The life of a young professional involves adjusting to corporate culture, building new skills, and quickly getting up to speed on new industries. Many find that having a mentor along the way can be an invaluable resource. This panel will discuss what it takes to select the appropriate mentor, what commitment is involved on the part of the mentor and mentee respectively and how to get the most out of formal and informal mentoring arrangements. Our panelist will speak about the role of mentorship in their career, how to identify and connect with potential mentors, and how they have both benefited from and served as mentors along the way.
