LAM continues with its myriad of events … this time we celebrate Brazilian Carnaval with a dinner at one of the best Brazilian restaurants in the bay – Canto Do Brasil (as featured in KQED’s Check Please!).
Join LAM members and friends for an exquisite dinner that includes typical Brazilian dishes and great ambiance, in a beautifully decorated family owned restaurant. Following the dinner, we’ll convert the venue to a Brazilian lounge with DJ Alfie1Bateria joining in for dancing and some fun!
Your $30 dinner ticket includes appetizers, main entree, a drink and dancing! $40 with tax, tip, and paypal fees.
Appetizers: Croquettes (chicken, beef, cheese, bacalao), Fried Yucca, bread and pate (eggplant spread)
Entrees: Feijoada (traditional black bean stew with beef and pork), Galinha na Cerveja (bone-in chicken marinated in Brazilian dark beer), and Muqueca de Peixe (red snapper with a yucca/coconut sauce and bell peppers).
The dishes come in large platters and are meant to be shared, served with rice.
Drink: You can choose one caipirinha, tropical passion, or a beer.
